After joining the centre, Rachit is able to follow basic instructions at home. He has learnt to do job work in vocational training, string beads, shell peas and corn. He attends to his personal hygiene independently.

He is able to serve himself and eat, dress independently.

Rachit has started relating to people apart from his parents and his tolerance for engaging with people has improved a lot. Rachit shows a lot of interest in paper plate manufacturing and our sheltered employment initiative include plans for Rachit in this area.

Alby has learned quite a few skills like —primary and secondary packaging in the bakery, paper plate making, participating in sales and exhibitions and interacting with customers. He has recently been introduced to manufacturing in the bakery.

Alby loves to work in our shop and shows his understanding that Together is his workplace and he has an important role to play here.

Our biggest concern for Arnav was that he should do constructive work and complete a task on his own. Today he can do job work, paper plate making, block printing and few bakery tasks on his own.

He has started expressing his feelings and maintains personal hygiene much better. He has started asking for specific food to eat. He also conveys what work was done in the centre and who came to visit the centre.

Mouzam has learnt a lot of skills in bakery, bakery support and paper plate manufacturing. We felt great when Mouzam’s mother told us that he has started behaving like a college student and has grown up after joining us.
