Admission

We work with the belief that every person who comes to us can be empowered to engage in meaningful work. There are multiple opportunities for a person to engage with us.

About our Programmes

Together Foundation works with adolescents and adults, age 14 upwards. Our programmes are designed for people with autism, Downs syndrome, Cerebral Palsy (the center is not designed for wheelchair movement) and intellectual disabilities. We also work with people with learning disabilities.

We work with the belief that every person who comes to us can be empowered to engage in meaningful work. If a person cannot work in the bakery, he can work in packaging. If not primary packaging, he can do secondary packaging. If not secondary packaging, he can do box making. If not making boxes, she can stick labels. If not sticking labels, she can make paper plates. If not paper plates, she can pack the paper plates or can clean the shop or can sort labels or can do data entry. There are multiple opportunities for a person to engage with us.

Admission process

We request parents to visit us with the adult for at least a couple of days and make themselves familiar with our work. We believe that the family is far more knowledgeable than us and can tell us if our programme will do justice to the adult’s needs.

After making a decision, parents will be required to take an appointment and fill a detailed admission form. This form gives us a very good idea of the adult’s background, thereby equipping us to give our best to him/her.

Fee Structure

From the year of inception, Together Foundation has made consistent efforts to make the programme affordable and accessible to families from all economic strata. To know more about the fee structure, please contact us.

Together Foundation offers fee subsidies for families that require support. Please write to us for the fee subsidy form.

Personal hygiene

Due to space constraints, we do not offer the life skills programme at the center any more, but instead as home programmes. We have helped several families to achieve independence with their adults in the area of personal hygiene. We require that our team members are able to use the washroom appropriately and eat independently in order to avail admission.

Safety and security

The centre is monitored by CCTV, 24 hours. No part of the centre is ever kept locked while a teaching programme goes on. We have an open door policy and parents can walk in at any time to observe their adults at work. We also encourage parents to be an active part of the activities that are carried out at Together Foundation.
